As the use of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) procedures has grown rapidly over the last two decades, professionals, including attorneys, therapists, social workers, counselors, human resources personnel, and managers, continue to seek training that will qualify or certify them to become effective neutrals. Mediation Training Company, located in New Orleans, Louisiana, offers successful mediation, conflict resolution, and arbitration training services for businesses and professionals. Our trainers have been mediating cases for over twenty-five years in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. We have been training professionals for over eighteen years. Mediation Training Company was established to provide ADR training services in Louisiana and Mississippi. However, professionals from all over the country have been trained by our trainers.

Bobby Harges founded the Mediation Training Company to provide quality mediation services and mediation, arbitration, and conflict resolution training to individuals, companies, and organizations. He is the Adams and Reese Distinguished Professor of Law at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where he teaches courses in mediation and arbitration, torts, evidence, and criminal law and procedure, as well as sports law. An active mediator and arbitrator, Professor Harges has mediated and arbitrated over one thousand cases of all types. He is a member of various local and national panels of mediators and arbitrators and is a graduate of Mississippi State University, the University of Mississippi School of Law and Harvard Law School.

Bobby Harges has been a mediator since February of 1990 where he was trained in the Harvard Mediation Program. He received additional training from the American Arbitration Association and the Family Mediation Council of Louisiana. He mediates and arbitrates all types of cases including family and divorce, personal injury, insurance, securities, construction, commercial,  labor, employment and maritime matters.

Since 1994, Professor Harges has trained lawyers, judges, mental health professionals, and various other professionals to be qualified mediators and arbitrators. He has also worked with numerous companies in training employees to be mediators and in designing employment dispute resolution programs. Mr. Harges has assisted in the design and implementation of dispute resolution programs with several national and local companies including The Boeing Company, Lockheed Martin, Stewart Enterprises, USDA National Finance Center, USDA Farm Service Agency, McGlinchey Stafford Law Firm, Baton Rouge Association of Realtors, and the Veterans Administration Medical Center Surgery Services.
